GC Studios: Full-stack software studio
the studio
About the studio
The hiring circus is real. Recruiting a senior engineer eats a quarter, agencies send a deck and bill you for the meeting, and the good freelancers are booked out past your launch date.
We built GC Studios to skip all of it.
GC is a senior engineering studio. Engineers, architects, and product people plug into your team and build every layer of the stack. You set the priorities. We put them in production.
And we have done this before. The founding team has started five companies of its own and shipped more than twenty products, in AI, immersive, creator platforms, onchain, and infrastructure.
Based in Philadelphia, PA. Past work includes some of the largest Fortune 500 companies, athletes, and creators in the world.
Industries
Five lanes, one studio. No portfolio theater here, just the domains we build in every week and what we actually make inside each.
AI
Models in production, not slideware.
LLM APPS · RAG · AGENTS · INFERENCE
New builds, rebuilds, and rescues. Sharp prototypes through hardened platforms, shaped around what your team needs next and built to keep moving after launch.
A month in, your old process will embarrass you.
Seniors or nothing
Nobody learns on your budget. Everyone here has shipped hard things before, so the work starts fast and the onboarding decks never show up.
Full-stack ownership
One team owns interface, services, data, and infrastructure. No vendor seams, no handoff gaps, and when something breaks there is exactly one place to look.
Production, not demos
We grade the work on what survives real users. Tested, observable, and documented from the first commit, then hardened until it holds under load.
No account managers
You talk to the engineers building your product, not a rep. Updates land in writing you can read anytime, and when a call helps, we take the call.
Range you can hire
The hard problems repeat across AI, immersive, creator platforms, onchain, and infrastructure. Your build inherits the best patterns from every lane we run in.
Engagements
Two ways to run the studio. Both senior, and both scoped in writing before a dollar is billed.
Project.BUILD
A scoped build with a finish line. First architecture to production handoff, owned end to end.
- Fixed scope & timeline
- Working software in weeks
- Production hardening
- Handoff docs & training
- Post-launch support window
- Clear acceptance criteria
Embedded.TEAM
RETAINEDA standing senior squad inside your org, running your roadmap month after month.
- Dedicated senior engineers
- Weekly shipped increments
- Architecture through deployment
- Direct channel access
- Written RFCs & demo links
- Scale up or down each month
Embedded.TEAM is for roadmaps. Project.BUILD is for finish lines. Both flex as the work changes.
Prototype sprint
One working prototype, shipped fast. We take the idea from architecture to a deployed build you can demo, with real integrations and real data behind it. Then the question of what to build next answers itself.
Prototype.SPRINT
Fixed scope- Architecture blueprint
- Working core flows
- 1-2 real integrations
- Deployed staging environment
- Demo video & docs
- Roadmap to production
